Voodoo Lounge Live presents The 925's Protoneers Deuce Coupe

"A combination of raw guitars and clever lyrics, a little unsigned gem ready to grow its audience, and these tunes suggest they just might do that" (Waterloo Unsigned) Originally formed in 2009 starting out by covering classic tracks by artists including The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream/Eric Clapton, Santana,The Who, Led Zeppelin. Our sound is guitar driven and based around Alternative/Progressive Rock. The 2011 release 'Six67' Extended Play is available now to buy digitally from iTunes and Amazon (UK/US) as well as last year's follow up single 'Times They Roll' The band are currently planning recording sessions for 2013 with a new release likely to be out in June/July featuring several of the latest new songs. In the previous year appearances were made at venues including Islington's O2 Academy 2, Viper Rooms Sheffield, The Musician, Leicester and in March/April the Regional and Area Stages of UK Live & Unsigned. To begin the year dates at Hoxton Underbelly and The Luxe in London have attracted a brand new audience and fully introduced The Protoneers in the capital, with March seeing the band set to perform their most 'high profile' live date for Kaiser Chiefs UK tour Aftershow Event, and also a first headline gig at The Playhouse in Grantham, promising to re-ignite the town's interest in live music.
